used to prefer this place. but last few times have been unpleasant. it's more expensive now. 2.50 for 2mins, i believe. it has eaten so many of my quarters, so i tried using my card last visit. it's not clear how it works when paying with card. quarters: put in 10 quarters, you get 2 mins until the water stops. card: i thought that the water would keep going in timed segments. like, press the stop button before 2mins is up and you'd be charged 2.50 and the water stops at 2mins. but if you push stop after 2mins, youd get charged another 2.50 and the water will stop after a total of 4 mins. i pushed the stop button around 3mins in, believing i would still get 1 min to finish rinsing my car. but no, it just immediately stops. ok. so maybe it charges by the second instead of every 2mins? that would make sense. the problem is somehow 3mins of washing charged me $10? i didnt even get to rinse all the foam of my car, for 10 dollars?? that's moomoo money! also the water kinda stinks. like sulphur?
